Softball Recap: Kennedy's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Kennedy fell victim to El Camino Real and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Royals. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kennedy's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4. As for El Camino Real, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Kennedy Cougars face off against West Ranch Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Kennedy is facing West Ranch at the right time seeing as West Ranch is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for El Camino Real, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Alemany at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
