Basketball Game Preview: Rogers Pirates vs. Brooks Lions

Rogers is 1-9 against Brooks since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Rogers Pirates are taking a road trip to face off against the Brooks Lions at 7:15 p.m.

Last Friday, Rogers didn't have quite enough to beat Lauderdale County and fell 52-49.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Brooks duked it out withFranklin-Simpson on Saturday. Brooks came out on top against Franklin-Simpson by a score of 44-37.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Brooks, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Rogers couldn't quite finish off Brooks in their previous matchup on December 6th and fell 54-51. Can Rogers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
