Softball Recap: Central Bucks West Bucks vs. Ridley Raiders
Central Bucks West stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past the Ridley Raiders 12-2. Winning may never get old, but Central Bucks West sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Sienna Lawson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Ana Glemser and Jill Boyle did most of the damage at the plate: Glemser went 5-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Boyle scored three runs and stole a base while going 5-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Murray, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Central Bucks West pushed their record up to 14-5 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Ridley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
