Recap: Tooele Buffaloes vs. Stansbury Stallions
The Tooele Buffaloes can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Stansbury by a score of 66-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Ethan B rogers, who scored 33 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Crew Lewis was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and three steals.
Tooele's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for Stansbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tooele will take on Park City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Park City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Tooele likes a good challenge. Stansbury will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Murray presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stansbury in Utah (Murray is ranked 29th, while Stansbury is ranked 115th).
