Flag Football Recap: Highlands Ranch Falcons vs. Chaparral Wolverines
Highlands Ranch had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-9 to make it seven. They took a blow against the Chaparral Wolverines, falling 38-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado flag football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Wolverines are ranked fifth).
As for Chaparral, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.2 points on average over those games.
It was another big night for Zoey Fink, who threw for 259 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 47 yards. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since September 2nd. Chaparral's leading receiver Salem Sherman was Fink's top target yet again, picking up 85 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Chaparral is set to face off against their familiar foe Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wolverines 8.1, the Titans 12.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
