Mitchell had won five straight games and Emma Hatzistefanou did her part to make it six on Wednesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bell Creek Academy Panthers for which the team can thank Hatzistefanou, who had 18 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-13.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Mitchell will venture away from home to face off against River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bell Creek Academy, they will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
