Volleyball Recap: Chequamegon Comes Up Short

Chequamegon came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Colfax Vikings, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Screaming Eagles have suffered since September 30th.

While Chequamegon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Colfax's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Angelina BeBeau paced Chequamegon's offense, picking up seven kills. BeBeau got some help from Jalen Brunell and her 18 assists. Alize Taylor and Gretchen Eder kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Chequamegon's defeat dropped their record down to 18-18. As for Colfax, their win bumped their record up to 12-19.

As of now, neither Chequamegon nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
