Abraham Estes Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Fall River's Abraham Estes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Estes rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (109.8).
The win got Fall River back to even at 2-2. Estes and Fall River will challenge Etna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Nate Downey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made three total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.

Etna Gets a Boost from Hubbard in 47-40 Victory
Noah Hubbard posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending a pass.
For the season, Hubbard has thrown 2 touchdowns while averaging 49.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.

Chris Guasp Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Modoc got the W thanks in part to Chris Guasp playing the best football he has all season. Guasp picked up 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (15) he has had since back in September of 2023. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
The win got Modoc back to even at 3-3. Guasp and Modoc will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Weed at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

Rounding off our Top Five is Wes Dresselhaus of Trinity. Dresselhaus rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns.
Trinity is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Dresselhaus and Trinity will head out on the road to face off against Redding Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
