Football Game Recap: DeSales vs. Washington County

After flying high against Shawnee last Friday, Washington County came back down to earth. On Friday, Washington County came up short against DeSales, falling 12-23. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Washington County of the 0-54 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.

The loss dropped Washington County's record to 5-4. The win bumped DeSales' record up to 7-1.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Washington County take on Christian Academy-Louisville at 7:30 PM. Christian Academy-Louisville are cruising in on a eight-game winning streak. As for DeSales, they will face off against Shawnee. Shawnee are limping into the matchup on a seven-game losing streak.
