Two dominant backs in Foster Orris and Brayden Tyson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the West Forsyth Wolverines and the Brookwood Broncos will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Forsyth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 34.8 points per game this season.

West Forsyth took a loss when they played away from home back in October, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They breezed by Alpharetta to the tune of 49-21. Considering the Wolverines have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Forsyth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Orris, who rushed for 126 yards on only five carries. With that strong performance, Orris is now averaging an impressive 101.4 rushing yards per game. Another passer making a difference was Max Walraven, who threw for 123 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.

West Forsyth was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 309 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Brookwood entered their tilt with Norcross last Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 25-13 win over the Blue Devils.

Brookwood found their leader in sophomore Tyson, who rushed for 299 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. Tyson's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.

Brookwood didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zyaire Conaway and Jeremiah Brinson. Brookwood got some further help from Daniel Diggs: he forced a fumble and made 12 total tackles.

West Forsyth's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for Brookwood, their record is now 7-3.

Friday's match might be decided in the on the ground. West Forsyth has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 193 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Brookwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 281.7. It's looking like Friday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
