Baseball Recap: Memphis Business Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Memphis Business Academy's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Lakeland Preparatory Lions on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Execs were not able to get on the board.

Memphis Business Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their victory was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Coming up, Memphis Business Academy will square off against Fairley on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.38 runs per game on average), something the Execs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they will challenge Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
