Volleyball Recap: Seligman Antelopes vs. Grand Canyon Phantoms

Seligman was the 3-1 winner over Grand Canyon when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Antelopes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phantoms on Saturday. The Antelopes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 23-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Grand Canyon was led to victory by Daisy Dimas Pozos and Denaya Smith. Dimas Pozos had 15 assists and five digs, while Smith had five kills and five digs. What's more, Smith posted two assists, the most she's had over her last three matches.

Seligman's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Grand Canyon, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Seligman will venture away from home to take on Joseph City at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Grand Canyon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Rough Rock on the 31st.
