Basketball Recap: Durand Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Micayla Peterson and Aurora Hilton

Durand lost against Lena-Winslow back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Durand Bulldogs took a 33-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lena-Winslow Panthers. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Durand's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aurora Hilton, who posted eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals, and Micayla Peterson, who earned seven points.

Durand's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Lena-Winslow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

Durand didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-20 victory against Forreston on the 24th. Lena-Winslow has also already played their next match, a 43-41 loss against Dakota on the 24th.
