Ketchikan's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Sitka Wolves by a score of 8-4. The game was the first time the Kings have beaten the Wolves on their field since April 18, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Rylea Armstrong, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Vienna Pahang, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Ketchikan's victory bumped their record up to 7-9-1. As for Sitka, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-3.

Ketchikan has already played their next match, a 6-4 loss against Colony on the 19th. Hopefully Sitka paid attention to the Kings' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Kings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
