Soccer Recap: Park City Takes a Loss

Park City and Orem squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Park City had to settle for second. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Park City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Orem are ranked tenth).

Nicolas Janssen and Quinn Kelly scored both of Park City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Park City now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Orem, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Park City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orem, they will face off against Ridgeline at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeline will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Orem surely won't give up without a fight.
