Flag Football Recap: Claxton Takes a Loss

Claxton fell victim to Woodville-Tompkins and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a hard 18-0 fall against the Wolverines. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The critical scores for Woodville-Tompkins came from Kennedy Edwards and Alyssa Holbrook.

Claxton is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Woodville-Tompkins, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Claxton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-13 win against Tattnall County on the 20th. As for Woodville-Tompkins, they have also already played their next game, a 28-0 victory against Westside on the 18th.
