Volleyball Recap: The Gregory School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact The Gregory School can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-9.

Emerson Myers paced The Gregory School's offense, picking up five kills. Myers got some help from Lauren Horowitz and her 13 assists. Alexie Danna controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Maddy Nicholson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

The Gregory School's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4.

The Gregory School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, they will take on Fort Thomas at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
