Downers Grove North waltzed into their game on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Metea Valley Mustangs.

Downers Grove North easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12.

Zak Baker paced Downers Grove North's offense, picking up six kills. Baker got some help from Ethan Weiner and his 11 assists. Aiden Akkawi controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
