Football Recap: Penncrest Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Penncrest duked it out with Springfield on Friday. The Lions lost 36-14 to the Cougars. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Penncrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Springfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penncrest will challenge Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Springfield, they will square off against Upper Darby at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
