Vance Charter is 9-1 against East Wake Academy since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Vance Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Vance Charter will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Franklin Academy on Wednesday. Aubrey Puryear was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Dakota Dickerson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Vance Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, East Wake Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 6-1 to Wake Prep Academy.

East Wake Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Vance Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Vance Charter's way against East Wake Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Vance Charter made off with a 10-3 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
