League recap: Ramos races to league-leading run for Muncy

Muncy's Junior Ramos rumbled for the longest rushing play in Heartland III this season in his game against Southern Columbia Area last week. Ramos scampered for 60 yards on the play and finished with 94 on the day as his team fell to the Tigers.

Ricky Klingerman and Colby Klingerman provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Montgomery. The connection went for 75 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.

Bloomsburg's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Klingerman threw for 221 and 4 touchdowns and Klingerman had 143 yards receiving. On the ground Evan Ball contributed 133 yards. Zach Ashford helped Bloomsburg's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 44 yards.

Klingerman put up the best numbers in passing as the Panthers bested the Red Raiders. Klingerman's favorite target this week was Klingerman, who caught 5 passes for 143 yards.

Bloomsburg's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Klingerman has thrown for 1,008 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Klingerman has 37 catches for 434 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Bloomsburg takes on Muncy. As it stands, Mike Kogut's team is in fourth, while Jay Drumheller's team is in third.

There should be lots of points scored when the Panthers and the Indians face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Bloomsburg comes in having scored 168 this season, while Muncy has scored 129. The Panthers scored 57 points last week as they beat Montgomery.

Southern Columbia Area added to the longest winning streak in Heartland III this week by beating the Indians, 55-13. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Tigers.
