South Bend Riley extended their postseason success on Friday against La Porte. They came out on top against the La Porte Slicers by a score of 52-44. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

South Bend Riley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Serenity Farmer led the charge by going 5 of 11 en route to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lafaye Gibson, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 15 points.

South Bend Riley was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

South Bend Riley's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for La Porte, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23.

South Bend Riley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-38 loss against South Bend Washington on the 8th. La Porte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
