Virgin Valley was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Cheyenne. The Bulldogs came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 35 last week.

Boulder City took down Western 58-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sam Woodbury ran for 74 yards and caught 1 passes for 10 yards during the win.

Moapa Valley's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Zak Hymas threw for 164 and 2 touchdowns and Cole Mulcock had 54 yards receiving. On the ground Andrew Huerta chipped in 89 yards. Jeremy Waite helped Moapa Valley's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 42 yards.

The Pirates' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.

Sunrise Mountain's Sherman Nash leads the league in rushing yards with 151.

Chaparral and Eldorado played the closest game in IA Southern - Sunrise this week, with Chaparral eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
