Football Recap: Moon Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Moon Area was the 42-13 winner over Seneca Valley when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Friday.

Despite the loss, Moon Area still got an impressive performance from Andrew Cross, who rushed for 71 yards, and also threw for 53 yards and one touchdown.

Seneca Valley found their leader in sophomore Brody Horn, who threw for 159 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 62 yards.

Moon Area's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Seneca Valley, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moon Area will take on Bethel Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Seneca Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
