While Christiansburg's win against Abingdon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Demons had just enough and edged out the Falcons 16-15. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Demons considering their two-run performance the game before.

Addison Reasor was a standout: she fired off two home runs, four runs, and one double while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Reagan Smith, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Christiansburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Christiansburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Abingdon, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christiansburg will face off against Cave Spring at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Abingdon, they will square off against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
