Soccer Recap: Riverview Takes Down Riverview Sarasota in a Playoff Battle

Riverview extended their postseason success on Friday against Riverview Sarasota. They won by a goal and slipped past the Riverview Sarasota Rams 2-1. That's two games straight that the Sharks have won by just one goal.

Joseph Andrejack and Sebastian Grajales scored both of Riverview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Riverview and bumps their season record up to 14-2-2. As for Riverview Sarasota, they now have a losing record at 8-9-2.

Coming up, Riverview will square off against Palm Harbor University at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Harbor University's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Riverview's offense will have their work cut out for them. Riverview Sarasota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
