Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Ridge). Their defense stepped up to hand the North Crowley Panthers an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Their offense was hitting North Crowley from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Kyleigh Pete led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lake Ridge pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for North Crowley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for North Crowley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
