Softball Recap: Tomales Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tomales extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 5-2 in the process. Everything went their way against the Credo Gryphon as they made off with a 16-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won four matches by 14 runs or more so far this season.

As for Credo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Credo's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delaney Lannert, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Lannert is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

Tomales wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 win against Point Arena on the 18th. As for Credo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-19 victory against Technology on the 22nd.
