Baseball Recap: West Comes Up Short

If West was feeling good fresh off their 17-7 takedown of Powell on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. West took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boyle County on Wednesday.

West's loss dropped their record down to 14-6-2. As for Boyle County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, West will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. As for Boyle County, they are taking a road trip to take on Lenoir City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
