Volleyball Recap: Milpitas Takes a Loss

Milpitas suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Monday. They came up short against the Palo Alto Vikings, falling 3-0.

Milpitas took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.

Milpitas' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Palo Alto, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milpitas will welcome Santa Clara at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Clara will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Milpitas surely won't give up without a fight. As for Palo Alto, they will be playing at home against MacDonald at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palo Alto is facing MacDonald at the right time seeing as MacDonald is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
