Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Alamitos). They won by a goal and slipped past the Corona del Mar Sea Kings 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Griffins also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Los Alamitos' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-4. As for Corona del Mar, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

As for Corona del Mar, they will face off against Huntington Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Corona del Mar's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
