Recap: Santa Fe Raiders vs. Union County Fightin' Tigers
The Santa Fe Raiders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-16 win over Union County. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Santa Fe has managed all season.
Santa Fe got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ranilah Smith out in front who scored six points along with eight steals. Deziah Jones was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Santa Fe's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Union County, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Santa Fe will take on Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newberry has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Union County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hamilton County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
