Basketball Recap: Bishop Hartley Falls Short of Bloom-Carroll in the Playoffs

Bishop Hartley and Bloom-Carroll squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Bishop Hartley had to settle for second. They lost to the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at home by a 55-41 margin.

Bloom-Carroll's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tessa Brooks, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Those 17 points gave Brooks a new career-high. Davynn Miller was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Bishop Hartley's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Bloom-Carroll, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-12.

As of now, neither Bishop Hartley nor Bloom-Carroll have any future games scheduled.
