Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wellesley). They blew past North Quincy 12-5 on Sunday. The result was nothing new for Wellesley, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Wellesley's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for North Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wellesley beat North Quincy by a score of 12-5 on Monday.
