Football Recap: Park Vista Comes Up Short

Park Vista lost against Jupiter back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cobras lost 27-3 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the Warriors are ranked 158th).

Elisha Gamble threw for 43 yards on four of seven attempts. Deon Patrick was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Jupiter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Roberts led the charge by rushing for 74 yards and one touchdown. Andrew Embick was another key signal caller, throwing for 142 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes.

Park Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jupiter, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park Vista will challenge Wellington at 6:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Jupiter, they will take on Palm Beach Gardens at 6:30 p.m. on September 5.
