Basketball Recap: Fort Towson Takes a Loss

Fort Towson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Soper Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 66-24 defeat back in December of 2024.

Fort Towson's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Soper, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Fort Towson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Soper, they will challenge Wapanucka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Soper is facing Wapanucka at the right time seeing as Wapanucka is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
