Cleveland is a perfect 6-0 against Southeast Raleigh since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will host the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cleveland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past South Garner to the tune of 55-3. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Kaleb Ferrell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Jaden Tibbs was another key player, gaining 38 total yards and two touchdowns.
Cleveland didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited South Garner to a completion percentage of just 18.8%. The team can thank Porter Bennett for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Cleveland; they were averaging 63%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three contests they've fallen to only 63%.

Cleveland didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Souljah Williams, Jaylen King, Kaden Blake, and Jamil Johnson picked up one apiece. King has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last five times he's played. Diondre Haynes was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Raleigh). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-28 victory over New Bern. With the Bulldogs ahead 42-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Cleveland better keep an eye on Christian Freeman. He was instrumental in Southeast Raleigh's win, rushing for 130 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Freeman has become a key player for the Bulldogs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tydreke Powell Jr., who threw for 98 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes.
Cleveland's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Southeast Raleigh, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Cleveland has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Southeast Raleigh struggles in that department as they've been averaging 188.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Cleveland strolled past Southeast Raleigh in their previous matchup back in October by a score of 28-10. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
