Canterbury piles up the points against Cambridge Christian

The Canterbury Crusaders waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They blew past Cambridge Christian, posting a 57-8 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Canterbury has posted yet this season.

Canterbury's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but MacKenzie Tucker led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 steals. Zy'nasia Alhuzaifi was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals.

Canterbury's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Cambridge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

As for Cambridge Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Fe Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Fe Catholic has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 27.
