Soccer Recap: King Comes Up Short

King came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-1 to the Ingleside Mustangs. The Brahmas have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ingleside, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King will welcome Tuloso-Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King has given up an average of 6.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Ingleside, they will host Calallen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
