Volleyball Preview: Hesperia Scorpions vs. Serrano Diamondbacks        
        
		
             Hesperia is 2-8 against Serrano since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Hesperia Scorpions will head out on the road to  square off against  the Serrano Diamondbacks  at 5:15  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
 Last Thursday, Hesperia came up short against Oak Hills  and fell  3-1. The Scorpions have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 While Hesperia had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 12-25, 25-20,  25-19.
 Despite the  defeat, Hesperia had strong showings from  Dylanna Akwaboah, who  had 13  digs, eight  kills,  and eight  kills, and  Jayda Del Real, who  had 28  digs, two  aces,  and two  aces. Akwaboah has been hot recently, having also posted 11 or more  assists the last ten times she's  played.

The rematch might be a little tougher for Hesperia since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
