Volleyball Recap: Lafayette's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

LaFayette came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Murray County Indians by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ramblers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: LaFayette took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaFayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anabelle Penland, who had ten digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Penland a new career-high.

LaFayette's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Murray County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

LaFayette has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oakwood Christian on the 12th. As for Murray County, they will face off against Heard County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
