David Anderson posted their closest win since December 8, 2023 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 victory over the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Devils who have now won three matches in a row.

Tuscarawas Central Catholic's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brysen Grimes, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Grimes has posted since back in January of 2024. Ethan Rothrock was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

David Anderson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

David Anderson and Tuscarawas Central Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings.
