Big Game from Branch As West Warwick Fell 30-22

Starting off the list is West Warwick's James Branch, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Branch rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making six total tackles, and defending a pass.

This season, Branch has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 150.2 rushing yards per game.

South Kingstown moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Peno and South Kingstown are on the road again on Friday to play East Providence at 6:00 p.m.

Ariel Medina Makes It Two for Woonsocket

Another Woonsocket player making an appearance on this list is Ariel Medina. He rushed for 81 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. His longest reception was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
