Volleyball Recap: Sterling Finds Home Court Redemption Against Seneca

There's no place like home for Sterling, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Seneca Golden Eagles on Tuesday.

Sterling not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Seneca to exactly 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.

Will Stubbs - Class Of 2026 paced Sterling's offense, picking up ten kills. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 got some help from Davis Holloway and his 18 assists. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Sterling pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling will face off against Timber Creek Regional at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. As for Seneca, they will challenge Eastside on Monday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
