Wolcott College Prep typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday UIC College Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolcott College Prep Wolves 60-28. The Firecats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Wolcott College Prep lost, don't look at Amir Haleem. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-18 en route to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. That was a full 71.4% of Wolcott College Prep's points, marking the third time in a row Haleem has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Habtamu Olson, who put up two points along with seven boards and four steals.

UIC College Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Wolcott College Prep and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
