Indian Valley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the John Glenn Little Muskies by a score of 65-54 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

John Glenn's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stehl Bates, who to rack up 23 points. Bates has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Brayden Davis was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.

Indian Valley's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for John Glenn, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 20-5.

Coming up, Indian Valley will take on Maysville in a tournament on Friday. Maysville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Indian Valley likes a good challenge. John Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
