Basketball Recap: Southwest Guilford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Southeast Guilford last Friday, Southwest Guilford came back down to earth. The Southwest Guilford Cowboys fell to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks 69-65. The Cowboys were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Nighthawks earlier this season, when they won 67-59.

Southwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Northern Guilford, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Southwest Guilford will take on Ragsdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Guilford is facing Ragsdale at the right time seeing as Ragsdale is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Northern Guilford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-38 loss against East Forsyth on the 5th.
