Achilles Evans was instrumental in extending Sand Creek's winning streak to seven on Friday. Evans turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 162 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Sadly, Addisu Mccormick posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Centaurus over Sand Creek on Friday. Mccormick rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. He has become a key player for Centaurus: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Centaurus has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. They and Thornton are set to duel on Thursday.

Will Applegate Turns in Season-Best Performance
