Volleyball Recap: American Heritage Stallions vs. Wellington Wolverines
The American Heritage Stallions came up short against the Wellington Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While American Heritage was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Wellington's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.
Wellington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nico Martinez out in front who had 15 assists and three aces. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last five games he's played. American Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Wellington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-13.
