Softball Recap: East Robertson Comes Up Short

East Robertson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Springfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Anna Highsmith was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Priscilla Pearson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

East Robertson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Springfield, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-11-1.

As of now, neither East Robertson nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
